Photo taken near Grand Teton National Park. The fine-spotted Snake River cutthroat, a unique sub-species, lives here. Try large dry flies in late summer.

Image taken before a winter midge hatch. Cheesman is popular with Denver anglers who hike for large trout and fish small flies.
 

 
Lake Marie, Snowy Mountain Range, WY

Lake Marie lies at 10,620' near Medicine Bow Peak in southern Wyoming. Marie is a brook trout haven and a photographer's dream.
 
 
Arkansas River near Royal Gorge, CO

The western entrance to Royal Gorge and North America' s highest suspension bridge. Trains are active here year-round.
 

 
Bear River near Yampa, CO

The Bear is a small tailwater fishery of beaver ponds, riffles and pocket water. One can catch four species in one day.

Wall Lake, Flat Tops Wilderness, CO

Wall is located near its more famous cousin, Trapper's Lake. It is also a Colorado River cutthroat fishery.

This popular desert stretch holds huge brown trout in gin-clear waters, an ideal arena for sight fishing.
