Versatility: With these flies, one is covered for almost every trout opportunity in Colorado. Some patterns are exact imitations. Others, called searching patterns, suggest a number of food items rather than one. These patterns are good choices when it's a mystery what fish are eating.

There are choices for midges, mayflies, caddis, stoneflies, terrestrials and baitfish. The life stages of nymphs, pupa, emergers and adults are included.
