Colorado Mountain Club's Fly Fishing Section

About Us

The Denver Fly Fishing Section promotes the aquatic habitat of the Colorado Rockies. We are part of the non-profit Colorado Mountain Club, the Centennial State's top outdoor group.

The Colorado Mountain Club (CMC) covers the range of human-powered pursuits. From local walks to Andean expeditions, we do it all. The CMC sponsors some 3,000 activities annually.

The Denver Fly Fishing Section meets monthly on the third Thursday at 7 pm from March thru October. Check our FAQs page for directions.

Schools and Clinics

Classes and clinics are regularly conducted for members. Introductory fly fishing and tying schools are held annually. For details, view the schools page, send us an e-mail or call the office at 303-279-3080.

Backcountry Fly Fishing
